Ever Near provides the following two types of Nearshore services:

Services monitored by the Ever Near management

  • Project based service agreement
  • Task based service agreement

Services monitored by the client

  • Remote team members based on full-time availability

Project and Task based service agreements

Nearshore services can be organized either as a Project or as a continuous flow of Task based services! For both Project and Task based, Ever Near has a proven operational cooperative model.

In a Project, a typical project structure is at place.

  • Team leader, team members, phasing, estimates per phase and per function, assignment of the workload, follow-up of delivery, budget, etc.
  • A client can opt to do a project as “fixed-price project”, or as “project-by-post-calculation”.
  • A typical example for such structure is a new project, or a new version for an application.

In a continuous flow of Task based services, an activity assignment model is set up.

  • Each activity, gets assigned  unique number, a ‘ticket’, a name, an estimated time to accomplish and an team member to perform the task.
  • The team member will register the actual time spent. 
  • A typical example for such structure is for ‘Change Requests’ , ‘Support’ and ‘Maintenance of existing applications’. The ‘Ticketing’ mechanism for up to smallest Change Request is comparable to an IT “help-desk” support ticket, and Ever Near is very proud to master this process as such and apply it for application development services!

In both ways of cooperation, project and task based services, the management of the output of the Nearshore team is monitored by Ever Near management.

Remote Team Members based on full-time availability

In this way of cooperation, the output of the Nearshore team members is directly managed and controlled by the Client.

  • The Client does the ‘delivery management’.
  • The “employee resource management” is done locally by Ever Near line management.
  • Contracts are usually flat fixed monthly fees comparable to an employee situation, or a fee per worked day.

But the client, himself, can opt for any way of controlling ‘his’ team members: project based, task based and even ‘ticketing’; we will assist the client on any way he would opt for.

Remote communication is performed by:

  • Co-working with Client team members on shared  applications and targets
  • Continuous Communication (Messenger, Skype, Email, Phone, Screen Sharing, ...)
  • VPN Security, Source Code Builds on Client’s Servers
